Dennis Douglas, CFI, is a physicist and co-founder of Pillar Point Avionics (PPAv). Dennis was instrumental in developing the UFS line of low fuel warning sensor systems used in experimental aircraft. He also founded EAA Chapter 1345 in Bend, Oregon in 2001.

Dennis began building N9103D on April 18, 1996. After investing 3,796 hours in her construction over eight years, Dennis flew his GlaStar on her maiden flight on July 18, 2004.
