PSS Angle-of-attack indicator on left wing

Overview

N9103D-builder Dennis Douglas installed ports and plumbing for a Proprietary Software Systems (PSS) Sport AOA angle-of-attack indicator. No vanes or other protrusions from the wings or fuselage extend into the aircraft’s slipstream, nor are there moving parts in the PSS system.

Description

Dennis installed two 0.040-inch ports, one on the top of the left wing and one on the bottom, just inboard of the left aux tank. The ports are connected to 1/8-inch lines of tubing that terminate behind the instrument panel, for future connection to the angle-of-attack's CPU.

Parts required to complete the installation, including PSS installation manual, CPU, LED monitor, wire harness, and hardware, remain in new condition and are on-hand.
