This aircraft is equipped with a Vetterman tuned exhaust system.

Benefits of Vetterman exhaust

• Exhaust systems are tuned to produce more power on less fuel. 
• Systems are manufactured from 321 (the industry standard) stainless steel tubing. 
• Tube bending is done in-house to ensure that exhaust systems fit the engine and airframe.
• Slip joints are installed in critical locations to reduce system breakage.
• Flanges are precision-laser cut from ¼ - 304 stainless steel.
• Each flange is machined for good sealing between blow-proof gaskets and cylinders.
• Systems are TIG welded with appropriate filler rod and argon purge.

Slip joints in N9103D's exhaust system are regularly lubricated with Mouse Milk to promote longevity.
