HID landing light & pulser

Overview

The landing light on this airplane is the reliable 4509 PAR 36 GE sealed beam bulb, reliable because it can be counted on to burn out just when needed. There is a better way.

Description

XeVision makes a conversion kit that replaces the exisiting GE bulb with a plug-and-play HID Xenon landing light that consumes 50 watts—half of what the sealed beam bulb uses. The HID light produces 5,300 lumens at half the radiant heat produced by the GE bulb.

XeVision's XePulse 2 Xenon pulsing system proved its value to the owner of Navion N5210K when the system’s wig-wag function helped avoid the consequences of a mid-air collision near VNY one smoggy Los Angeles afternoon.

Thus, the XeVision HID landing light and XePulse kits will be an important upgrade to N9103D and a positive contribution to safety.
